RIFE PUTTERS WINS ON PGA TOUR
0 commentThis marks the first win of the 2010 season for RIFE Putters and their 41st dating back to 2008. RIFE now has a win on the PGA Tour three straight years in a row to go along with four more titles on the European Tour. Not to mention wins on every major circuit worldwide and all without paying a single player, making RIFE Putters one of the greatest stories in the history of the golf business.
The new Rife Aruba, helps roll the new world No. 5 to victory in Arizona
The win for the style conscious Englishman was also the first victory for the Rife Aruba, one of Rife’s brand new range of putters that are due to be launched worldwide this spring. Following the 4 & 2 victory, the winner was asked what his strong point was all week and had no hesitation in his response that, “I putted very, very well this week.” This was a sentiment echoed by the losing finalist who commented, ““He did what he needed to do today…… made a lot of clutch putts He’s putting very, very well.”
This win for the new world No.5, his first on American soil, marks the high point of an incredible run of form since the decision to switch to a Rife Putter. Rife Putters does not pay any player to use its putters so when a player decides to try out its unique brand of style and technology it is for the purest of golfing reasons – because it helps hole more putts. Since making the switch, Rife has helped the new world matchplay champion to a runner-up finish at The Players Championship, two top 5s and victory in Barclays Singapore Open in all in 2009; another runners up finish in the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship in 2010 and now the biggest prize of his career at the world matchplay. It is form like this that has propelled him up the world rankings and with the confidence gained from rolling a Rife, helped to sink the most important putts in his career.
The winner of the WGC Accenture world matchplay is the best known of a growing band of followers on the worlds major Tours who now understand that the best way to get paid for using a certain type of putter is not through endorsement but through the much bigger cheques being handed out every Sunday evening on Tour.
About Rife
The LieAline™ Fitting System teaches players to automatically set-up to every putt in the same, natural set-up position. Using a very subtle vertical notch located on the back edge of the top line players can automatically tell whether the putter is set-up to suit their putting stroke. If the player can see the entire white sight line then the putter is set-up perfectly, if not then you use the LieAline Bending tool to bend the hosel into the ideal position for you. Once this has been done the player can benefit from a more consistent and repeatable stroke path every time by using the sight line.
Adjustable Weighting allows players to apply different weight configurations to match speed of the greens. It also increases stability and accuracy on off centre. The 4 point stability weighting system, as seen in the putters using Two Bar technology, has stainless steel weight inserts in the heel and toe. The additional rear weighting means the putter’s centre of mass is still driving through the ball as the putter face makes contact with the ball.
